O'QUINN, Aloysius "Al" O'Quinn - 23-Jun-1940 - 17-Sep-2024

It is with great joy that we remember the life of Aloysius Gordon O’Quinn, or Al, as he was best known. Born in Bruins Brook, Newfoundland on June 23rd 1940, Al was the youngest of 14 siblings. Moving to Toronto in 1958, Al worked at first in construction before venturing into catering, and eventually ran a boutique cafe at Old City Hall in Toronto. His love of story telling and genuine east-coast friendliness made him a natural fit for the work he chose, and many enduring friendships he cultivated along the way, and he will be fondly remembered by all those who knew him. On the morning of September 17th, 2024, in his 84th year, Al passed suddenly of injuries from a fall. He is survived by his loving wife Tillie, children Craig (Cheryl) and Cindy (Chad), was a father figure to John (Carla), Linda (Roger) and Kathy, and grandfather to 16 children.

We’ll miss you, Dad. May you rest in peace.

A Celebration of Life for Al will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Durham Regional Police Association located at 725 Conlin Road, Whitby, ON.  https://www.google.com/search?q=725+Conlin+Road%2C+Whitby%2C+ON&oq=725+Conlin+Road%2C+Whitby%2C+ON&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigAdIBCDEyODFqMGo3qAIHsAIB&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
