Goss PatriciaGOSS, Patricia - Passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 in her 102nd year.

A loving mother to Andrew and Rosalind, grandmother to Nathalie, Owen (Natalie) and Alexander (Andréa), great grandmother to Samuel, Julia, Olivia and Jasper.

Predeceased by her husband Geoffrey, her son John, daughter Anna, and her sister Betty Leib.

Pat was born in London, England, to Edward Tyson from the Lake District and Gertrude Tyson from London.

As a young fashion artist in London she married Geoffrey, another artist, and immigrated with her two sons after the war to Canada, living on Centre Island from 1947 to 1951.

The family then moved to Oakville where Rosalind was born. In Oakville Pat taught art at the Lightbourne School, and then went on to teach art for 25 years at the National Ballet School in Toronto where she moved in 1966.

The family wish to thank the staff at Christie Gardens for their compassionate care since she became a resident there, and in particular during these difficult COVID times.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St James Cathedral at stjamescathedral.ca or Canadian Friends Service Committee at quakerservice.ca.
