LIM, Reynaldo - Passing on August 21, 2017 at the St. Peter's Hospital at the age of 70, surrounded by his beloved family.
A faithful husband of Lily Lim and a loving father to Elaine and Karen.
Rey was born on January 2, 1947 in Silay City, Philippines. He immigrated to Canada in 1993 along with his wife and two children. He graduated at La Salle College, Bacolod City Negros Occidental with a Bachelors of Science and Commerce majoring in Accounting.
At a young age he was a 4th Degree Karate Black Belter. He is also known for his chess prowess. He mentored teenagers in his old neighborhood in Silay City to use Karate as self defence.
Reynaldo retired at the age of 65 and had been going back to his hometown in the Philippines every year to pursue his passion for fishing, cockfighting and during his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, relatives and former colleagues in the sugar industry.
He will be deeply missed with his stories and singing of Frank Sinatra classics. He is very loved by his siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.

Chapel Service will be held at Bay Gardens funeral home - Hamilton - 947 Rymal Road East on Thursday, August 24th from 2 - 3pm. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 3 - 5pm.
