Dear grandmother of Katherine, Laura and Michael.
Born in Athens, Greece, she came to Canada on her own in 1951 where she met Constantin in Montreal.
They married in 1952.

GASTLE, Allen James - 1933 - 2020 Al passed away peacefully, on October 15th at St. Joseph's Hospital, in his 87th year.
Al will be dearly missed by many friends and family including his sister Ann Betzner (nee Gastle), his late nephew David and his niece Lynn.

KONDO, Mary (nee SHIMIZU) - Born July 3, 1925 in Toronto.
Surrounded by family, Mom passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 15, 2020, at the age of 95.
Mom and Dad put family first and sacrificed so their sons would never go without.
"Marse", as Dad used to call her, was selfless and never had a bad word to say about anyone.
You couldn't help but smile after meeting Mom.
Her easygoing, pleasant personality made everyone she came into contact with feel special. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 61 years, Ted (Tadao).

MCKENZIE, Herbert 'Herb' Mark - Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Toronto Western Hospital on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at the age of 59 years after he suffered a brain aneurysm at his home in Beaverton, Ontario.
Herb grew up in Aurora, Ontario. He worked in the automotive industry for most of his life.
He loved his Toronto Maple Leaf's and never gave up on them. He enjoyed watching the Toronto Blue Jays and Nascar races.
He loved to go golfing with friends and family. He loved to cook, whether it was with family, friends or on his own where he would share his delicious meals with everyone on social media.

EAGLE, Lillian Joyce - Lillian Joyce Eagle, who lived cheerfully, imaginatively and adventurously for most of her life, died peacefully at the age of 103 in the Woods Park Care Centre in Barrie, Ontario, on October 15, 2020.
Drama teacher, storyteller, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Joyce was frequently and aptly called Joy by friends and family members.
Joyce was known for her zest for life and love of people.

TRUTY, Thomas 'Tom' - (1951 - 2020) - With great sadness, we announce the passing of Tom Truty from Glioblastoma on October 14th, 2020.
Born March 5, 1951 to Henry and Josephine Truty (both deceased) of Hamilton, Ontario.
Tom was a caring and devoted husband for over 46 years to the love of his life, Susan; an adored and supportive father to daughter Sarah (Brian) and son Andrew (Dayna.) A proud Grandpa to Amelia, Gloria and little Evey.
Dearest brother of Marie (Dick) and Evelyn (Leon) and sister-in-law Kathy (Tony) and predeceased by Diane. He is much loved by a large number of friends, neighbours and relatives: nieces, nephews, cousins and aunts.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Peter at Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto with his family by his side in his 91st year.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Beryl (Strang); his two children, Susan and Geoffrey (Julie); grandsons, Matthew Aeichele and Dixon Goering; and his older sister, Frances Jorge of the Dominican Republic.
He is predeceased by his three grandsons, James and John Aeichele and Harrison Goering, and his older brother Jack of Port Hope.

LEBLANC, Guy Joseph Leblanc - Passed away in hospital in his 80th year, suddenly and unexpectedly October 14, 2020, due to complications that arose just days after a successful procedure the prior week.
He leaves behind his much loved and loving wife of 59 years Elizabeth (née Walsh), his sons Tony (Pamela) and Michael and, 3 grandchildren Tony (TJ), Lake and Roan.
Born in Saint Maurice N.B. to Pius and Emilia (née Richard), the second youngest of 11 siblings.
Together with Elizabeth's 10 siblings, guy will be missed by all those that remain and the many nieces and nephews that loved Uncle Guy.

LEWIS, Jacqueline E. - 1931 - 2020 The Lewis and Burrus families bid a loving adieu to Jay Lewis - intelligent, shy, iron-willed, principled, devout, solitary, thrifty, generous, always on the side of the weak, the powerless and the exploited.

Farewell Nana! It is with immense love and sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret McLafferty (O’Hara), an icon in our family.
Margaret was born on September 13, 1918 in Barrow-in-Furness, England. She became a nurse and worked at the Lancashire Military Hospital during World War II. She met Hugh McLafferty and they married on February 10, 1945. Together they had five children: Jean, Michael, Anne, Denise & Helen. They emigrated to Canada in February, 1956.
