BRADBURY, Jean Marie – After celebrating one final victory and beating COVID-19, Jean passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2020, in her home at West Park Long Term Care Centre.
Dearly beloved by her brother Jim (Leona), FIERCELY proud Aunt of Kim. Remembered warmly by cousins Maxine, Paul, and Elizabeth.

DELLA PENTA, Giuseppina - It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Giuseppina Della Penta, born May 19, 1926 in Campochiaro, Campobasso, Italy, and passed away on her birthday, May 19, 2020 at Etobicoke General Hospital at the age of 94 years old.
Giuseppina's journey to Canada started with Pasquale, her husband, coming to Canada in 1952 and was joined a year later by herself and her daughter Teresa who was 6 years old at the time in 1953.
They started a new life and in 1956 came a new addition to the family, a son and a brother, Bruno.

SNELL, Robert Laurence Selkirk 'Bob' - Was born, February 8, 1932, and raised in the Tomato Capital of Canada, Leamington Ontario. At the age of 88, Bob passed peacefully on May 19, 2020 at Lakeside Long Term Care in Toronto.
An Alumni of Leamington District High School, he found his way to Victoria College at the University of Toronto where he completed his B.Comm. More importantly, he met the love of his life at UofT, Diane Hillier. Married in January 1960, the family expanded with the arrival of Ted (1964), Matt (1965) and Victoria (1971).

BAIN, Lorna Jean - At age 96, with daughter Trish by her side, Lorna passed away peacefully on May 19, 2020 at Amica-Unionville.
She was born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and moved to Ioco, BC at a young age, with her parents E.E.Dauphinee (Dauph) and Jean. Then the family moved to Sarnia where Lorna began her high school years at S.C.I.T.S. Following that, she attended the University of Toronto and graduated in 1945.
Upon her return to Sarnia, she worked in the lab at Imperial Oil where she met Fred Bain, whom she married in St. George’s Anglican Church on July 6,1946 and shared her life with him for the next 52 years.

We have all been blessed to know Margie and feel her very deep love. She is kind and generous; ready to help on a moment’s notice. She volunteered her lunchtimes for several years to help with Meals on Wheels in downtown Toronto, and will drive across town in a heart-beat to help a friend or family. She never judges folks looks or race, creed or sexuality; but always manages to see you for the beautiful person you are inside.

SZETO, Wayne Hoi Wing - March 18, 1960 - May 19, 2020 - Wayne was taken away suddenly after an emergency surgery at Sunnybrook Health Science Centre on Tuesday, May 19, 2020.
Gone too soon but in his short life, Wayne had embraced every adventure and loved everything sports from an early age on. Until cervical stenosis took control of his life two decades ago, Wayne played hockey and rode a motorcycle. He was a bit of a dared devil! He also loved tennis, cycling, swimming, snorkeling, zip lining and exploring the rain forests in Costa Rica.

Mary was the loving wife of former NHLer Cal Gardner.
Prior to staying home to raise her children Mary worked as a nurse at Wellesley Hospital in Toronto.
She is survived by her two boys Dave (Marion) and Paul (Sherri), and eight grandchildren Ryan, Jennifer, Matt, Scott, Ashley, Lindsay, Connor and Skylar.

LEM, Raymond Puck Tsai - August 24, 1930 – May 19, 2020
Passed away peacefully after a series of complications following his cancer treatment at the age of 89.
He was a loving husband to Alice So Eng, (predeceased 2015), proud father and grandfather.
He will be greatly missed by his daughter Annie (Joe Sinnott), sons Jeffrey (Mary Ang), Kelly (Susan Polak), and Kenton (predeceased 2003). His grandchildren Sam, Sabrina, Robby, and Julian were his greatest joy.
Raymond worked 7 days a week at his grocery store in Chinatown for 30 years.

NELSON, Dan - June 7, 1950 - May 18, 2020
Cathy's husband and soulmate for 48 years and Becky and Ashley's loving father. Dan was admired for his joie de vivre.
His love of travel took him around the world, even planning trips while he was in the hospital.
His love of shopping was a force to be reckoned with - packages are still arriving!
His love of chocolate and ice cream never ceased to amaze, as did his hatred for kale and broccoli.

PAWLIKOWSKI, Wanda - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Wanda Jadwiga Pawlikowski, nee Morawska.
Born January 30, 1926 in Warsaw, Poland, she died May 15, 2020 in Toronto, after a lengthy illness. She was 94.
Wanda spent a happy, early life in her beloved, pre-war Warsaw. She spent her teens during the Second World War in France.
Following the end of the war, Wanda studied dentistry in France and in Poland where she graduated and worked.
