FORD, Wavel - Passed away peacefully, with his family by his side, on the morning of Sunday, February 4, 2024 at Hospice Vaughan in his 82nd year of life.
We are sure he was met by his beloved wife, the late Anne Shirley (nee Lillicrop).
Loving father of Shane (Christine), Riel (Aki), and Irene (Danny).
Grandpa Wavel lives on through his grandchildren Kelsi, Maddox, Coral, Sebastian, and Anne.
He will always be remembered for his love of sports, countless hours building backyard rinks, driving the ski boat, and as the #1 fan of his grandchildren, Maple Leafs and Blue Jays. Love, Happiness, Peace & Joy now and forever.
A graveside service was held at the McIndoos Cemetery in Woodville on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. A celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
Memorial donations may be made through the Thorne Funeral Home, 109 Laidlaw Street S. Box 236 Cannington, to Hospice Vaughan or the Canadian Hemochromatosis Society.
