YOSHIDA, Gordon (Gord) Hiromu Yoshida  -  2024.  Beloved husband of Julie (nee Sato) and father of Brendan, passed away peacefully, at Sunnybrook Hospital on Thursday, June 20th at the age of 72.

He was the third son of late Hideo and late Masako Yoshida and brother of late Howard (Sherrie).

He is also survived by his brother, Ross, and many family members and friends, who had the privilege of experiencing Gord's generosity, wit and sense of humour.

Gord was born and educated in Toronto and earned his Civil Engineering degree from the University of Toronto. He spent the last 40 years of employment with the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management at the Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General until his retirement in 2022.

Gord's greatest passions were his family, golf and bowling. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life is being held on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Toronto Buddhist Church, 1011 Sheppard Ave., W.
