Spiro "Robert" Zaphiratos

Spiro "Robert" Zaphiratos, affectionately known as Mr. Robert Spiro, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024, at the age of 88. He was the cherished husband of Dimitra Zaphiratos and the beloved father of Valerie (Félix), Robert, and Marie.

Spiro will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Milthos, Artemi, and Elias, as well as his siblings Jenny, Peter (Christina), Marika (Gerry), and Dr. Thomas (Patricia). He was predeceased by his parents, Gerasimos and Érika Valérie, and his infant daughter Anna-Marie.

Spiro dedicated his life to his family and community. He was known for his kind heart, generosity, and unwavering commitment to those around him. His memory will be cherished by his extended family, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

The family will receive visitors at Salon Funéraire Familial Berthiaume, 416 McGill Street, Hawkesbury, Ontario, on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Additional visitation will take place at Urgel Bourgie Athos Complexe Funéraire, 1255 Beaumont Avenue, Mount Royal, Québec, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Koimisis Tis Theotokou Church, 7700 Avenue de l’Épée, Montreal, Québec, on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment.
