Loving grandfather to Christopher, Catherine (Domenic), Nicholas, Matthew, Matthew, Melissa, Rachel and Anastasia, and great-grandfather to Domenic. Devoted son, predeceased by his father Stavro Christou and mother Elenka.
Cherished brother, survived by his siblings Kosta, Velika and Sofia, and predeceased by siblings Athena, Menka and Mike.

MONTEITH, Daniel Wiley - January 30, 1944 - November 12, 2021
A beloved husband, father, brother and friend, Dan passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021, at Amica Georgetown, from complications of dementia.
Dan leaves his wife, Sunny Wiles, his children, John, Eric (Marcia), Rosalind (Dean), Elizabeth (Darren), their mother, Pat Monteith, and his sister, Ann Scott (George), as well as six grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua, Olivia, Quinn, Daniel and Ivy.
Dan was predeceased by his parents, Velma and John (Jack) Monteith, and recently by his brother, John.
Dan was immensely proud of his four children and he mentored them lovingly through school, sports and life until they each found their own path to success. His grandchildren knew him as Bumpa when they were little.

ULTRERA, Basil Joseph - August 12, 1936 – November 12, 2021
Suddenly, on Friday, November 12, 2021, we lost our dearly beloved, Basil Joseph Cultrera.
Basil was born in Toronto.
He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Ross Cultrera, and his sister, Kathleen Catalano.
He will be forever missed by his wife of 47 years, Donna, his nephew, Marc Catalano, Sam, Jacob, Chelsey, his niece, Lisa Catalano, mother-in-law, Sheila Lamont, Heather and Thor Jepsen and their family, as well as many, many friends.
Basil enjoyed life to the fullest, from his days with Seal Top Paving and Construction to his Formula Honda Dealership, where he shared his passion for cars, racing and his love of his 1969 Corvette.

SLATER, Blanche Winnifred (nee ADAMS) - Blanche passed away peacefully, at Castleview Wychwood Towers Long Term Care, Toronto, on Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 102.
Cherished daughter of the late Mary Adams (Wainman) and the late G. Sherman Adams.
She was predeceased by her husband Donald, her son Thomas, and by her siblings Douglas, Frances, George, Marianne, Kathleen and John (Jack).
She will be greatly missed by her sister Alice Luce, her son Frederick, daughter-in-law Anna Todorovich, and her grandchildren Alexander, Evan and Justin.
In her working years, Blanche was a public school teacher with a special interest in the primary grades.

SABISTON, Brian H. - Peacefully in Toronto, Friday, November 12, 2021, at the age of 82.
Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Brian graduated from Victoria College in 1961 with a UBC degree in Zoology and Psychology (1st graduating class from what was to become UVic), an MSc from UWO in Physiology, and a PhD from the University of Toronto in Clinical Biochemistry/Immunology.
Early career highlights were Officer Cadet RCN, immigration officer and ambulance driver/paramedic. 40+ years of distinguished service at DCIEM/DRDC: Head/Immunology; Head/ Operational Medicine; Business Development Officer; and Deputy Director General.
Seconded to DRDC Suffield, Brian served as Business Development Officer until his final retirement.

DUNSMORE, Mariann Cecilia - Passed away peacefully on the morning of November 12, 2021, with her family by her side, at the home of her sister and brother-in-law.
Daughter of David and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Dunsmore of Toronto, (both predeceased).
Ann will be sadly missed by all her sisters – Jo-Anne Rively, Teresa Dale, her twin Marilou Baker, Patti MacKenzie, and their partners.
She will be remembered fondly by all her nieces, nephews, and extended family. In so many ways Mariann was the heart of her family – everyone's favourite auntie.
Mariann will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched as a caring, relatable, passionate and a fun-loving person with a great sense of humour who lived simply and cared for many.

Adam was born on September 7, 1929. Adam was of German descent, born in Obrez, Yugoslavia, the second oldest of six children of parents Adam and Katarina Decker; he is predeceased by his older sister Liesel and younger siblings Ferdinand, Rosi, and Philipp.
Adam is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lydia Decker (Dautermann), his sister Erika and her husband Wolfgang Muller, his brother-in-law Dieter Witte (widower of his sister Rosi), his son Tim (Timmy as he called him), his granddaughters Jordan, Megan and Jaclyn, his daughter-in-law Karen Dewey Decker, and his nieces and nephews: Margaret, Ernie, Roy and his wife Teresa, Debbie and her husband Kris (Moe), Danny and his wife Cynthia, David and Heidi.

Nancy passed peacefully.

Will be sadly missed by family and friends both in Canada and Germany.
Wolfgang immigrated to Canada at the age of eighteen years with little knowledge of the English language.
He was an accomplished tool and die maker and began what would be a long and successful career in the aerospace industry, culminating in the position of General Manager with Heroux-Devtek.

HARTFORD, James - 1954 - 2021 Passed away suddenly, on November 11th.
He deeply touched the people in so many communities he was involved in.
We are humbled by the outpouring of support and help from all.
Jim is survived by his wife, Lynn Stein, his parents, Betty and Leo Hartford, brother Paul (Lisa), sisters Anne (Tom), and Patricia (Larry), aunts and uncles, countless cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Jim has loved The County since he was a little boy at the family cottage in Northport.
As a young man, he and his parents worked together in their sign installation and manufacturing business in Toronto. Lynn joined the company in 1979.
Jim and Lynn's real estate career began in 1991, in The Beaches in Toronto.

Phyllis was born on April 16, 1922, in North Port, Ontario, and married her husband, Archie, on August 16, 1958.
Many of her early years were spent on the farm at Mount Pleasant where she learned country cooking and was known later in life for the quality of her "Taffy Tarts and Sticky Buns".
