PAPAIOANNOU, Dionisia - It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we announce the passing of our precious daughter and beloved mother Dionisia Papaioannou on Sunday October 3, 2021.
Born on August 14th 1961 to Panagiotis and Kostoulla Papaioannou, she is survived by her mother, her two loving sons of whom she was vocally proud, Christos Karlos and Panagiotis Karlos, and the daughter in law she loved and admired, Stamatia Madonis.
Dionisia was full of life and love, always spending her time with family and friends, and enjoying the finer things in life like a great glass of wine or a foreign soap opera.

On October 3, 2021, Michael passed from this life into eternal glory with his loving family by his side.
Michael joins his dedicated father, Edward (predeceased), and leaves behind his devoted and loving mother Joanne, dear sister Kimberly, supportive brother-in-law Marco and his cherished nephews Philip and David.

She is now reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Arsenio and parents Giuseppe and Maria.

PETO, Brian E. - It is with profound sadness that our family announces the death of Brian Peto, on Wednesday, November 3 2021, age 73, after a valiant struggle with cancer.
Much loved husband to Corrie for over 45 years, and Dad to Geoff (Ewelina), Blair (Christina) and Melanie (Matthew).
Loving Grandpa to Gabriella and Nikolas, Aurora, Everett and "baby Peto" to come.
Survived by his brother, Lance (Kathryn) of La Jolla, California and his family.
A possessor of a keen intellect, a dry sense of humour, and an often stoic demeanour, Brian was a forever loyal husband and a devoted father.

ROSS, Corey Alexander - Corey Alexander Ross tragically passed away on October 2nd 2021 in Mississauga Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. Corey was yet another victim of Deep Vascular Thrombosis (DVT) being mis/undiagnosed by the Canadian Health Care system.
Corey is survived by his loving parents Anne & Lawrence, older brother Michael, dog Luke, best friend Sami, aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends.
Corey was a talented and well respected Machinist/Tool & Die Maker who worked as an integral part of the Top Grade Molds family in Mississauga. His superiors and co-workers speak very highly of Corey’s knowledge, ability, attitude, work ethic and show tremendous admiration for his dedication to his trade. They have expressed extreme sadness at his passing and will miss him tremendously!

HALLGREN, Gary - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Gary on Saturday October 2, 2021 at the age of 79 years.
Gary is now reunited with his dear parents Signe and Ivar, his brother Bera, father-in-law Nick and nephew Regan.
Gary was the loving husband of Marylin and devoted father of Sarah (Kyle Plaggemeier). He was the admired brother of Britt (Robin Forsnor) and Bera Hallgren (predeceased)(Anita).

De SOUZA, Dr. Aloysius Phillip G.C. - Dr. Aloysius Phillip De Souza, beloved and devoted husband and father, died peacefully on October 2, 2021 in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 85.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 50 years, Bridget Ida De Souza, who passed away in February 2021. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Dr. Claire Michelle De Souza.
He was born in Zanzibar, East Africa to Luizinha (née Remedios) and Sebastian Xavier De Souza. He is survived by his sisters Felicity and Vita and predeceased by siblings Vera, Mary and Sylvester. His family members, near and far, were forever in his thoughts and prayers.

BRZEZICKA, Katarzyna 'Kate' - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kate on Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, at the age of 49.

BROOKES, John Douglas 'Doug' - Doug passed on Saturday October 2, 2021 at the age of 88.
Doug’s wife Margaret predeceased him. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Andy (Heather), Nancy, and Jill (Elgar),grandchildren Galen, Adam, Samuel, Eliza, Keenan (Kari), Aaron (Rachel), Niles, Ben, Robyn, Rowen, Katey and great grandchildren Riley and Emily.
Doug began his career as an Electrician becoming head foreman of the Electrical department for the City of Toronto, during that time he purchased property north of Toronto to build the family home with Margaret. He was a strong and independent thinker who always wanted the best for his Family and Community.
Doug became politically active in the early years of the CCF party and NDP party. He served 2 terms as a King Township councillor in ward 5, later was appointed to the Land Division Committee of York Region.

KOKE, Frederick Albert 'Fred' - (1956 - 2021) - Fred Koke, husband, brother (in-law), uncle, passed away on October 2, 2021, surrounded by his wife, his brothers and sisters, and members of his extended family.
From early in his life, Fred’s magnetic personality commanded attention. In his adolescent and early adult years Fred was committed to living life to the fullest, pursuing adventure across Canada and into many countries in Europe.
His vivid memories of these experiences were the source of rich tales with which he would regale many listeners. He could convert a minor moment into a compelling narrative story.

TRINH, Minh Thi - Minh Thi Trinh returned home to Jesus on October 2nd, 2021 at the age of 66.
Born in Quang Ngai, Viet Nam on February 27th, 1955, she is the daughter of Mai Thi Pham and Chinh Van Trinh.
She met her loving husband Ke Van in 1984 with whom she has shared powerful life experiences including leaving Viet Nam by sea in 1985, moving to their new home in Canada, and raising a family.

Loving mother of Betty Lebar, Rosemary and husband Joe Prsa, Mayda and husband Tony Brandolino. Ivana will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Tanya, Kris, Aleks, Danny, Andrea, Michael, Darian and her 10 great grandchildren.

Raymond Francis Vandette, a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at home, at the age of 85, following a battle with leukemia, on Saturday, October 2, 2021.
He is predeceased by his parents Margaret and Isadore Vandette, sisters Irene, Ruth and Mabel and brother Gary Boucher.
Raymond is the caring and loving father to Kelly, Vanessa and Justin and proud grandfather to Skylar, Connor, Quincey, Paige and Shelby.
Also, he is survived by his brother Jim Boucher of Kapuskasing. He was born in Matheson, raised in Hearst and moved to the City of Toronto in 1944.

MUKJA, Rubens Mukja - 33, passed away on October 2, 2021, in Mississauga.
He is survived by his mother, Leta; his father, Kastriot; and his big brother, Eros.
Rubens attended Philip Pocock Catholic Secondary School, and studied Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science at The University of Toronto.
As a talented software developer, he enjoyed practicing his exceptional problem-solving skills. Rubens, everyone's favorite grandson, nephew, and cousin, moved to Canada from Albania as a child.
He was an avid reader of ancient philosophy and often found solace in the writings of Marcus Aurelius, who according to Rubens "could cure everything but male pattern baldness."

GRACH, Gabriele - Gabriele Grach passed away on the morning of Saturday, October 2, 2021, from lung cancer.
Her daughter Julia and husband Ken were at her side and were able to hold her hand and tell her how much she was loved.
Gabriele had a beautiful and vibrant spirit and was truly loved and appreciated by so many people from all walks of life who will miss her deeply.
She was gentle and kind, musical, creative and generous, a true animal lover and so much fun to be with.
She always helped people when they needed it, was a great listener and inspired many people with her positive outlook on life and strong sense of compassion and empathy.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Robert Raphael Panzine announces his sudden passing on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Powell River, British Columbia at the age of 51.
He will be forever missed by his parents Rita Chlebus (Dr. Andrew Chlebus) and Donald Panzine (Irene Panzine), his sister Lisa Armstrong (Darren), and nephews Connor and Liam.

COLLINS, Donald Pattie - Born February 17, 1928, passed away October 2, 2021, at the age of 93, in Toronto, Ontario, with family at his side.
Donald was predeceased by his parents Richard (Dick) Collins and Jeannie Collins (Knowles), originally of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Don will be missed by his brother "Red" Richard Leslie Collins, his sister-in-law Eleanor Collins, his niece and his nephews.
He will be greatly missed by his daughter Lynn, her husband John Cook and her sons Scott Sullivan and partner Trent, and Eric Sullivan. Don was a Royal Insurance retiree.
With a love of music, Don played saxophone, clarinet and drums in several Toronto bands and continued to play well into his late eighties.
