She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Maria was born in Agnone Italy where she met her husband with whom she was married to for 65 years. Maria was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She worked briefly in the 1970βs at Omstead Fishery before working full time on the family farm for more than 50 years alongside her husband. Maria was very protective of her family and enjoyed the many holidays and birthdays celebrating those she loved. Maria loved to cook, bake and take care of their garden and the family pets that clearly loved her and followed her endlessly around the property. We will always remember her laughing and sharing stories with her children around the kitchen table.
The family would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the nurses, PSWs and staff of the Leamington Mennonite Home for their dedicated and compassionate care of our dear mother. We will be forever grateful.
