ELRICK, Alexander James Elrick - July 28, 1937 – July 5, 2022
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Alexander “Sonny” “Scottie” Elrick in his 85th year.
Loving husband of Margaret; dear father to Lorraine, Grace and Tanya, and beloved grandfather to the apple of his eye Samantha.
He will also be greatly missed by his four-legged granddaughters Caleigh, Sarah and Chloe, and by his dear friends and family here and in Scotland.
Sonny was a bass drummer for several years with the Royal Canadian Legion Local Branch 43 Pipe Band.
Many thanks to Lakeridge Health Bowmanville and Oshawa staff in Unit 4F.
He will be met by his other beloved four-legged granddaughters Tia, Patches, Fidget, and his special friend Maya.
No services will be held as per Sonny’s wishes.
Donations to Parkinson’s Canada in lieu of flowers are welcome.
