Renzo Mario Bartolomeo

September 12, 1948 – November 28, 2024

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Renzo Mario Bartolomeo on November 28, 2024, in his 76th year, surrounded by his loving family. Renzo will be forever remembered by his devoted wife of 50 years, Angela, his children Carmelina (Riccardo), Gemma, and Christopher (Natalia), and his cherished grandchildren, Paolo, Giulia, and Sabrina.

Predeceased by his parents Riccardo and Isolina Bartolomeo, and his in-laws Gemma and Felice Russo, Renzo is also lovingly remembered by his siblings Nina (Tony) Civitareale, the late Giovanni (Emma) Bartolomeo, the late Erdere Bartolomeo, Anna (the late Luciano) Vergni, Carlo (Angioletta) Bartolomeo, and Marialuisa (Alberto) Milone. Renzo was a dear brother-in-law to Michael (Sarah) Russo and Felicia (Marc) Albanese and was adored by many nieces and nephews.

Renzo lived a life marked by compassion, hard work, and unwavering love for his family. Known for his warm smile and laughter, he brought joy to everyone he met. His legacy of kindness and strength will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, on Monday, December 2, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 20 Idlewood Ave, Hamilton, on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., followed by cremation. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
