MCGARVEY, Douglas Rolley Edward - (Retired 35 year GM employee), passed away with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, January 28, 2023 in his 74th year.
Doug will be truly missed by the love of his life Sherly Weber.
Loving father of the late Glen. Dear brother of Shirley Neale, Joseph (Sharon), Donald (Valerie), Clifford and the late Johnny.
Predeceased by his parents Alma and Manley McGarvey. Doug will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends.
A special thank you to the nurses and staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Cancer Centre for their wonderful care and support.
Family and friends will be received at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 10 am until the time of service in the chapel at 11 am. Cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
