GOWANS, Evelyn - Passed away peacefully after a courageous battle surrounded by the love of her family on October 23, 2015.
Devoted mum of Denise and Douglas (Megan).
Cherished Nana of Holden, Braeden and Ewan.
Loving sister of Harriet (the late Robert), Sonia (George), Walter (Faye) and the late Eleanor (Jim), Mary Margaret, Alexander (May) and William.
Evelyn will be fondly remembered by her many family and friends both here and abroad.
Visitation will be held at the DESTEFANO FUNERAL HOME, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Friday, October 30th from 5:00-7:00pm.
A Service to Celebrate Evelyn’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 7:00pm.
In memory of Evelyn, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Alzheimer’s Society.
