VEKASI, Joan D. Vekasi - April 20, 1941 - June 10, 2022
Passed away peacefully, before sunrise on the morning of Friday, June 10, 2022 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, in her 82nd year.
Loving wife and best friend of the late Bill Vekasi.
Beloved mother of Laura Ann (Chris) and Darrell (at home) and cherished Baba of Alex.
Much-loved sister of Gloria (Ted) and predeceased by her brother Tom.
Dear sister-in-law of Teresa (Joe), Marg (Bob) and Annie (Rich).
Dear friend of Irene. Joan will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Predeceased by her nephew Danny and her parents Victoria and Harry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. with Prayers during visitation at ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME (124 King St. E., Oshawa).
Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Interment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
