LITOWITZ, Stephen Brian  -
October 12, 1948 - June 15, 2024

Quickly and unexpectedly, Stephen passed at Toronto Western Hospital with his wife by his side.

Stephen was a beloved and devoted husband to Janine Kelly De Rosie; a loving father and father-in-law to Alexander (Jennifer Vey); and step-grandchildren, Abby and Zoey.

He is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Barry (Gayla) and Carol (Frank); along with his mother-in-law, Marie; brother and sister-in-law, Warren (Carmen) De Rosie.

He was a grateful uncle to nephews, nieces and their spouses and children. Over the years, Stephen had battled severe spinal issues after an injury, but the warrior in him fought a ferocious battle never letting the severe pain stop him from making the most out of life!

His love for his family and gardening (enjoyed by all that passed his manicured garden in Leaside) sustained and fulfilled him these past several years.

A special thanks to the many close friends and neighbours for their love and support of our family. Heartfelt thanks go out to Dr. Stephen Lewis and Dr. Khalid Syed at Toronto Western Hospital for always doing their absolute best to keep him mobile while easing his pain.

The family will respect Stephen's wish for a private, family send off. We are grateful for the outpouring of condolences and well wishes.

Stephen's happy place was Algonquin Park, canoeing and hiking with his family and a Doberman by his side.
