WILSON, Mary Elizabeth (nee Jensen) - Entered into rest suddenly on Monday, August 28, 2017 at Kingston General Hospital in her 58th year.
Beloved wife of 9 years to Tom Wilson. Dear daughter of Bob and Donna Jensen, sister of Doug Jensen (Terry) and Joan de Smidt (Marty), and sister-in-law of Terry Herbison. Predeceased by her sister Dawn Herbison.
Daughter-in-law of Lois Wilson. Sister-in-law of Rick (Golda) Wilson, Gary (Jan Reaves) Wilson and Donna (Mike) Giroux. Cherished aunt of Tristan and Kyle Jensen, Michael (Brandy) Herbison, Chelsea (Thomas) van Stralen and Amber de Smidt.
Great-aunt of Stella van Stralen, Denali and Dallas Herbison. Will be missed by her dear friend Elizabeth (Leonard) Healy, her goddaughter Robyn (Tyler) Holmes and Robyn's daughter Hallie Holmes as well as by Jan (Glen) Shonaman and family of New Brunswick.
Mary taught school for over 30 years in Algonquin, Delta, Elgin, Brockville and Iroquois. Her passion was teaching primary aged children. She was an avid reader and loved to instill that joy in her students.
Mary and Tom loved to travel and did so extensively around the world. Mary was talented in the art of cross stitch and needlepoint, gifting many of her family and friends with pieces over the years.
Mary will be remembered for her quick wit and wonderful sense of humour. She loved life, her family and her many friends.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life Gathering on Friday, September 1st from 1 - 3 pm at Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville.
