WINTON, Mary "May" - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Mary "May" Winton, on October 24, 2023, in her 81st year.
Born in Dalry, Scotland, in 1942, May was the loving sister of Betty Rotter; and was predeceased by her brothers, Jack and Ronnie; as well as her parents, John and Mary Winton.
She was a wonderful aunt to Steven (Heidi) and Stacey; as well as a great-aunt to Tyler and Brett.
May was a dedicated Crown Life employee, a die hard Maple Leaf supporter and an Elvis Presley fan.
May will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbours near and far. In honour of her love for the Leafs, please wear something blue to the visitation and/or funeral.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Alzheimer Society in her name.
A Visitation for Mary will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, ON. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Holy Spirit Parish, 3526 Sheppard Ave. E., Toronto, ON M1T 3K7..
