SMITH, Neil - Born - July 9, 1931 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Neil Anthony Smith, on April 8, 2024, at the age of 92, in the comfort of his home.
Neil is survived by his loving wife, Jeanette Smith (Chayka), of 63 years; and will be forever missed by his 2 sons, Russell and Stephen; and his "almost daughter," Jannine.
Neil adored and was adored by his two granddaughters, Rheanne and Aleah who will miss him greatly.
Predeceased by siblings: Sister Rita Smith, Helen Burkholder (Murray) and Paul Smith (survived by Janet). Survived by siblings: Sister Mary Doreen Smith, Rose Anne Mullally (Des), and Jeanette Brimner (predeceased by Jim); and his numerous nieces and nephews.
In honour of Neil's life, a Service will be held at Paul O'Connor Funeral Home, located at 1939 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, on Friday, April 19th, at 11:00 a.m. Friends and family are welcome for Visitation at the funeral home an hour prior to the Service.
