LUNDY, Paul Joseph Lundy - Paul was called by God peacefully on December 25, 2023, at the age of 88.
He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Carole.
Cherished by his dear children, Michelle (John), Robert (Autumn) and Christine.
Proud grandfather to Sean, Evan and Michael. Paul will always be remembered by his siblings, Vaughan (Loretta) and Terry (Late-Vivian); brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
He will be held dearly in the hearts of all his relatives, and many friends.
Paul was born, raised and spent most of his life in Toronto before moving to Richmond Hill after retirement. Paul had a very rewarding career, teaching at William Lyon MacKenzie Collegiate, where he developed and maintained lifelong friendships.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Berger and his exceptional Palliative Care Team at Mackenzie Health and Hill House for their compassion and care during Paul's last days.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul may be made to the Hill House Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Road, East Thornhill, Ontario), with the Funeral Mass celebrated thereafter at 1:30 p.m., in the Chapel. A private cremation is to follow.
