With profound sadness, the family announces the passing of Elvira “Fifi” Warmbold at the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 30, 2024.

Fifi was born in Bad Neustadt, Germany, and immigrated to Canada with her parents, Karl and Emma Schlereth, and siblings, Rudy and Rosemarie. She was the beloved wife of Dieter Warmbold and a loving mother to Doni and Patrick.

Fifi’s gentleness and caring personality were reflected in her career as a nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where she dedicated herself to helping others. Over the years, Fifi and Dieter shared many joyful moments with their close-knit group of friends, creating cherished memories.

As per Fifi’s wishes, cremation has been arranged, and no formal services will be held. Arrangements have been entrusted to Everest Funeral Home, Waverley Chapel, 299 Waverley St., Thunder Bay.
