SLOAN, Robert Warren - (1928 - 2020) - Passed away peacefully at his home in Weston on November 30, 2020.
Warren was born on June 24, 1928 in Toronto and raised his family in the Toronto suburb of Weston. Warren lived in his home for 65 years. He worked for Northern Telecom (Nortel) for over 40 years.
Warren was the devoted husband to Barbara Rebecca (nee McIntyre) for 42 years. Survived by loving sons Allan, Robert & James, and daughter Cathy (Burns). He was predeceased by his daughter Donna Lynn Tucker, who passed away last year.

PLATT, Pamela Mary - (July 26, 1926 - November 30, 2020) -
Pamela Mary Platt was born and raised in British Columbia, primarily in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. She met her beloved husband Douglas Platt there near the end of WW2. He was in the Navy. They set up home in Toronto, Ontario and raised their family there; she made regular trips back to Nanaimo to spend time with her mother and siblings for many years, and get her fix of viewing the Rocky Mountains.
She was in her 95th year and living in her own home in Toronto. She passed away peacefully in her sleep with her son Greg at her side, who had been her caregiver for her last years.

VARGAS, Jorge Alberto - God called Jorge home on November 30th, 2020, at the age of 68.
Beloved husband of Maria. Dear father of Jorge (Dayana). Cherished grandfather of Matias Alejandro.
He will be missed by his siblings, Eduardo, Enrique, Rodrigo, Oswaldo, Miguel, Patricio and Jacquline.

TURNER, Marjory 'Marge' Mary (nee Coombs) - (1947 - 2020) - On November 30, 2020, Marge gave up her long fight with C.O.P.D.
Marge was born in Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland, before the Dominion voted to join Canada, to Elizabeth (2005) and William Henry (2006) Coombs. The family came to Toronto in 1951.
After graduating high school, Marge started on what would be a more than 40 year career, first as a legal secretary and ending her career as the clerk in charge of a major real estate practice.
Marge is survived by her beloved spouse Michael Chodos, her loving son Michael James Turner of Madoc, Ontario, her granddaughters Casey and Loralee, to whom she was Ma Turner, and her grandson Tomas, to whom she was Abuela Marge.

SKIFFINGTON, James 'Jim' - James Skiffington passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2020 at his home in Toronto, Ontario at the age of 91.
His devotion and firm belief in his God supported him over the past year and gave him peace.
James is survived by his loving wife, his three sisters Irene Hayward of Bonavista, NL, Dora Tremblett of Labrador City, NL, and Shirley (Bernard) Collins of Hare Bay, NL, sister in law Margaret Skiffington and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his Mother Mary Skiffington, sister Margaret Skiffington and brothers Andrew Skiffington and Wilmore Skiffington.

GRIESDORF, Norman Diamond - Passed away on November 30, 2020, just following his 87th birthday.
Norman was born in Vancouver in 1933. With his parents, David and Ruth Griesdorf, he lived in a number of different cities: Vancouver, Winnipeg, New York, and Los Angeles before moving with them to Toronto in 1945.

D'AGROSA, Giovanni - We sadly announce the passing of Giovanni on November 30, 2020 at the age of 92.
Giovanni was a devoted husband to Carolina for over 60 years, she was by his side when he passed away.

PLOWRIGHT, Elizabeth Anne - After a long and brave struggle with Alzheimer’s, Anne Plowright passed away peacefully at the Woodhaven Long Term Care Center on November 30, 2020 with her sister Jane and dedicated caregiver and friend Linda Humphrey by her side.
Anne was 75 and is predeceased by her parents Joy and Allan Plowright, her partner Marion Sayers and her cherished dog Deja.
She will be deeply missed by her sister and brother-in-law, Jane and Georges Simard and her very close, dear friend Debbie Jackson (Anna, Hailey and A.J.).

HUBER, William Arthur - Died the way he wanted to leave us: peacefully, quicky, painlessly and unexpectedly at home at age 79 with his wife Janet Jeffrey at his side on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
Art lived with congenital health conditions that left him with back pain and mobility issues that increased as he aged.
His walker was used to support his walking was also used to transport items which proved very helpful.
Heart problems started over 20 years ago and he was well supported medically.

YOUNES, Isabelle - Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, fell asleep in the Lord on November 30, 2020.
She was 98 years old.
Isabelle was born on September 17, 1922 in Cairo, Egypt, she married our late father, Simon, who fell asleep in the Lord in February 1993.
She immigrated to Canada with her husband and 6 children in May of 1968. Isabelle was the dear sister of the late Odette Ramzi and the late Elie Ghazal and their families.

GRILLI, Emilia - Peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2020 at the age of 79.
She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband Marino.

STEWART, Barry Lloyd - An officer and a gentleman to all who knew him, Barry passed away, surrounded by those that loved him most, in his home on November 30, 2020 as a result of a stroke, aged 69 years.
With him was his beloved wife of 45 years, Janice (nee Standfield) Stewart, devoted daughter Katie Jane, loving son-in-law Cory and his grandson Edwin.
He is survived by his brother Owen (Louise), his nephews Mark (Allana), Danny (Kinsey), Sean (Shauna), and niece Johanna (Pete), his daughter Jayda (Joey) and is fondly remembered by the extended family and friends in Ontario, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.

ALEJANDRO, Januario - After a long and courageous battle, he passed, bravely and peacefully on Monday November 30, 2020 at the age of 83.
He was a Knight of honour, whose greatest pride and joy was his family and making sure people felt at Home.

Elizabeth is survived by her much loved sons David and Ian Beswick of Toronto and her sister Beverley Hastings (Jim McBride) Ottawa, her two nieces Karen McBride (Nonie Smart) Dunrobin, ON and Joy McBride (Cindy McQueen) Kingston, and two nephews Geoff McBride (Shelley Gullikson) and Scott McBride(Ottawa) Elizabeth was born June 16, 1930 in Montreal to the late Gwen and Bert Hastings.

BOSSONS, Ila - Ila died of a serious stroke on Monday, November 30, 2020, after several days in palliative care.
Born in 1937 in Freiburg, Germany, she grew up in Germany and Switzerland, studied in Munich, Madrid, Pittsburgh, and New York. She is survived by John, her husband of 56 years, son Miles, and brother Walter Haeberle.
A longtime civic activist, Ila was chair of the Annex Residents Association and subsequently elected to four terms on Toronto Metro and City Councils from 1988 to 2000.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of James Doyle at his cabin on the lake, his favourite place on Earth.
James was raised in Bloor West Village by Ann and Dr. William Doyle; brother to Cathy (Ralf), Julia (Cary) and Bernie (Alison), and known as Uncle Jim to his loving nieces and nephews.
James' spirit and profound value for people was felt by his extended families in Etobicoke, Nova Scotia, on Bay Street, with the Bulls and Grizzlies, at Morrison Lake, as well as wineries and mines across not only Canada, but the world.

MARCH, Ian G. - May 2, 1960 - November 30, 2020
Life's good!
That was Ian's motto and he lived it to the fullest every day. Known by all for his big smile and positive attitude, Ian made friends wherever he went.
Sadly, his life ended too soon on November 30, 2020. Ian was born in Kingston, Jamaica and moved to Toronto with his parents in 1970.
He graduated York University and enjoyed a career in sales, most recently selling advertising with Metro Toronto Star.
