EVASON, Leo (Levko) - Leo passed away quietly at home on December 1, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
Leo, Bass-Baritone-Tenor, was born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1932 to John and Maria (Stefaniuk) Evasiuk, a Ukrainian family.
He had four brothers – Yourko, Meraslaw, Orest and Volodimyr – who predeceased him.
After graduating from Brandon College, Leo moved to Toronto and began studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music. He joined the Canadian Opera Company in 1964 and performed under Herman Geiger-Torel and Lofti Mansouri.

MISRA, Amar Suresh (Sinha) - 90, passed away peacefully at her home in Pickering, Ontario amidst her children and grandchildren on Tuesday, December 1, 2020.
She was born in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India on September 7, 1930. She was the beloved daughter of the Late Chandravati and Late Balbir Prasad Sinha.
She was educated at Mahadevi Kanya Pathshala College, Dehradun. One of her cherished memories of her schooldays was of being captain of the basketball team. She later worked as a school teacher and principal for many years.

Peacefully after a brief battle with cancer, in her 89th year.

Welcomed into the world during the Great Depression and departing during the pandemic, Mom lived her life with joy and quiet determination.

McGEE, Harvey C. H.C. (Sam) McGee - Of Elmvale, passed away peacefully after a short hospital stay on December 1, 2020, he was 82.
Survived by wife Elaine (McGhee) who was by his side for more than sixty years.
Together they raised a family built with love and made a positive impact everywhere they lived.
Born in Flesherton, Ontario, he started work with Bell Canada at age 17 and that led to a successful career in middle management with moves to Belleville, Ottawa, Thunder Bay, Sudbury and Barrie; he retired in 1992.
He nurtured relationships and developed friendships that lasted decades.

Preceded in death by her husband Edward Peeling Groover.
Loving Mother of Debra (Stephen), Kirk (Susan), Tim (Shari), and Kristi (Dave).

KROON, Pleuntje (nee VAN RIJN) - On December 1, 2020 our Mother was received into the loving arms of her saviour and released from her pain and tears to once again walk with her husband Jaap in gardens he loved to build and maintain.

A wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and friend.
Josee worked as a registered nurse for over 35 years, co-founder of Street Health, frontline worker during SARS and a dedicated volunteer at children's summer camps.
A special thanks to the staff at Mt. Sinai 10th floor north for their compassionate care.

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Beverly at the Toronto Grace Health Centre's Palliative Care unit, after a short illness.
Beverly was the daughter of Wanda (Thorne) Ashton and Edward Ashton who died when she was 3 years old.
She was brought up by her very special Grandmother – Edith.
Thorne who died in 1949.
Beverly was predeceased by her brother Monte (Blue) Ashton and sister Mona Spurway (Ashton).

Son of the late Robert and Millicent Buck, Lorne was born in Kilmaurs, ON, on the 13th of December, 1933.
Brother to Edith Wemmers, Marian Ford, Helene Eggerstedt, Bernard Buck, George Buck, Frances Lytle, and the late Bob Buck and Ruby Thompson.
The family of eleven was closely knit and very musical together.

McCARTHY, Robert 'Bruce' – It is with great sadness that the family of Bruce McCarthy announces his passing on November 30, 2020 following a valiant battle with Covid 19, at the age of 73.
Bruce will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Lauren, wife Denise, sister Sandy and the Thomas family, “Little Brother” Mark Cotgrave, the Tobins and the Greers.
Bruce was a Sports Captain at Ridley College and went on to study at Western University where he was varsity quarterback and graduated in 1970.
In Toronto, Bruce was JCI Senator, President of the Toronto Junior Board of Trade and received the Michener award for Public Service. Bruce worked for PWC, London Life and Assante Asset Management in finance. He was a also a loving Big Brother to Mark since the 1980s.

Warren was born on June 24, 1928 in Toronto and raised his family in the Toronto suburb of Weston. Warren lived in his home for 65 years. He worked for Northern Telecom (Nortel) for over 40 years.
Warren was the devoted husband to Barbara Rebecca (nee McIntyre) for 42 years. Survived by loving sons Allan, Robert & James, and daughter Cathy (Burns). He was predeceased by his daughter Donna Lynn Tucker, who passed away last year.

PLATT, Pamela Mary - (July 26, 1926 - November 30, 2020) -
Pamela Mary Platt was born and raised in British Columbia, primarily in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. She met her beloved husband Douglas Platt there near the end of WW2. He was in the Navy. They set up home in Toronto, Ontario and raised their family there; she made regular trips back to Nanaimo to spend time with her mother and siblings for many years, and get her fix of viewing the Rocky Mountains.
She was in her 95th year and living in her own home in Toronto. She passed away peacefully in her sleep with her son Greg at her side, who had been her caregiver for her last years.
