ZECEVIC, Magdalena (nee STUPICA) Zecevic - Magdalena passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones on July 10, 2024, at Toronto Western Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Vlatko Zecevic.

Devoted mother of Peter Majcen, Magdalena Covelli (Francesco), Monica Carey (Michael), and stepdaughters, Helen Zecevic and Marijanna Zimmer.

Cherished grandmother to Luka, Maeve, Mateo and Philip. Sister of Vida Farella and aunt of Vivi.

She will be sorely missed by family in Slovenia, Serbia and the US, friends, clients and colleagues.

Magda was born on March 5, 1952, in Sodražica, Slovenia, and immigrated to Canada as a child.

She was a driven and caring woman with a passion for helping others and a joy for life.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Mount Pleasant Funeral Centre (375 Mount Pleasant Rd.) from 1 – 3 p.m., followed by the service at 3 p.m. Livestreaming at www. etouch.ca. Private cremation and inichment.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and/or the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre.
