Cherished grandfather of Anastasia Hryciuk, Natasha Hryciuk, Alexander Hryciuk, Ryan Mickleson and Erica Mickleson and step-grandfather of Philip Russ, Adam Russ and Alexandra Russ.

BREEN, Jim - (1935 - 2021) - Peacefully passed away at Cedarvale Lodge, Keswick on Thursday, March 25, 2021.
Beloved husband of Erla (nee Kester). Loving dad of Christine (David) MacKay, Colleen (Scott) MacDonald and Tom (Shelly) Breen. Proud grandpa of Lance and Jamie MacKay; Kyla and Ryland Breen.

86 years, a life well lived and to the fullest. Born on the kitchen table of the family home in Schomberg in the Spring of 1935. Raised a farmer, retired from a storied career as a school teacher. Avid outdoorsman, coach, mentor and friend to all he met.

RUCCHETTO, Carlo - Carlo Rucchetto was born on October 20th, 1961 and passed away Thursday March 25th, 2021.
Carlo was a wonderful man who was deeply loved and cherished by close family and members of his community. Carlo was the most generous and kind man with an infectious laugh and an eternal smile.
Carlo was suddenly diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and very quickly lost his life.

NYKOLAYCHUK, Betty Joan - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Betty Joan Nykolaychuk at age 84 on March 25, 2021.
Betty was able to spend her last weeks at home with friends and family around her and died peacefully knowing she will be with Christ. Betty had a strong Christian faith and her church was her second home. Betty was an elder at the church and actively took part in the choir and many bible study groups.
She taught with the Etobicoke School Board for 30 years and after retirement worked for a number of years in Pakistan teaching Christian studies.

ANGELIDIS, Helen - Helen Angelidis, died in her sleep on the morning of March 25, 2021, in her 94th year.
She was predeceased by her late husband of 25 years, Peter Angelidis; her parents Hariklia and Lazaros Kokkinos; her sister and brother-in-law Voulie and Dimitrios Salvarinas; and her nephew Benjamin Salvarinas, and a multitude of family in Greece.
Helen is survived by her nieces and nephews: Kathy and Sebastian Pelaia, and Mary and John Salvarinas; and her great nieces and nephews: Nicholas, Elisa (Alec), Evelyn (Sam), and James.

GOLDSTEIN, Jean (Silver) - 1921 - 2021 - Died by MAID March 25, 2021. Surrounded by family, Jean Goldstein (Silver) died with medical assistance (MAID) on March 25, 2021 in her 100th year.
Born in Toronto on September 10, 1921 she was the youngest daughter of Peretz and Sarah Silver.
Peretz came to Canada from Poland to forge a path for the family, and after seven years of hard work in Toronto, was able to bring his wife Sarah and their four children to Toronto.
The love child Jean (or Jenny as she was affectionately called), was the result of this joyous reunion.

He was famous for his jovial smiles and willingness to share a kiddush and a story. His loved ones will remember his resilience, his determination, his devotion to his family and the Jewish community, his fierce protection, and his warmth, especially towards his beloved grandchildren.
Jonas took pride in his successful rebuilding of life after the war; setting up business (Lindy's Textiles for over 50 years) in Montreal with Esther, and becoming the patriarch of a Jewish family. He was deeply committed to the Jewish Community, and found a second home upon moving to Toronto, at the Beth Shalom Synagogue.

Lorna lived her life with grace and kindness, dedicated to her family, her friends and the United Church.

They were a family of farmers who worked hard living in an occupied land.
Mychailo’s mother Kateryna was deeply religious and raised her children in the same way whereby church was the centre of family life.

Born in North Bay as Mary Theresa Ann O’Shea, Mom was known as Ann since birth.
