POLLANEN, Pentti - Pentti Pollanen, husband, father, athlete and welder died on December 3, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
He leaves his wife (Laara) and son (Michael).
He was predeceased by his first wife (Britta).
Britta and Pentti immigrated to Canada in search of adventure and a new life in the late 1960s.
Pentti spent his childhood in the Finnish countryside after being displaced by the Russian annexation of Viipuri.

PUK, Robert Peter 'Bob' - (January 4, 1938 - December 2, 2021) - It is with great sadness and heartache we announce the passing of Robert Peter Puk (aka Puky, FBI or BobO). Bob passed away peacefully after a long journey of health complications. He fought valiantly to be here.
He is survived by his devoted, beloved wife and best friend of 61 years, Diane.
Loving father to Lori (Glenn) and Robert (Lori). Proud Grandfather to Darryl (Sadie), Kinsey, Kayla (Ben), Erik, Ryan (Aidriana), Griffith, Angus and Great Grandfather to Margot. Uncle Bob to Debbie and Robyne.
Bob was a vibrant man in many ways, a Firefighter Captain over 32 years, Firefighter of The Year in 1995, manager and coach of the Firefighters baseball team who accomplished Championship at the World Firefighters Games in Las Vegas.

SLEIGH, David - (March 7, 1928 - December 2, 2021) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of David Sleigh.
David was born in Aberdeenshire Scotland on March 7, 1928. David travelled to America in the mid forties and worked for several prominent farms. After a few years in the States, Uncle Sam invited him to join the army, so he ended up with the 82nd airborne in Fort Bragg N.C.
After being honourably discharged he settled in Connecticut for a few years before ultimately moving to London, Ontario managing Prospects Farms. Dave and his family spent ten years at Prospect before agreeing to join the McCutcheon family at Ellanvannin Farms north of Toronto. David continued to have success with his herd, winning many awards at premier shows across the country.

EDWARDS, Paul Jonathon - Paul Edwards passed away on December 2nd, 2021, at Trillium Hospital in Mississauga at the age of 62.
Paul will be missed by his wife Debbie, brothers Dave (Denise) and Peter, sister Karin, daughters Melody (Orrin), Veronica (Ryan), and Victoria, stepdaughters Victorea and Lesley, and grandchild Aidan.
Paul was predeceased by his parents Des and June Edwards.

HERSZKOWICZ, Jason - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jason Herszkowicz on December 2nd, 2021. Jason passed at Sunnybrook hospital with his family at his side.
He was outgoing and had a passion to live life to the fullest. We take comfort that he is not suffering and can find peace. He was 42 and much too young to be lost. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his family and friends.
He leaves behind his father, Saul, his two brothers, Ryan (Brandy) & Sean and his nieces Arya and Kaia.

RYBKA, Otilia 'Leah' (nee Nunes-Ravasco) - Otilia (Leah) Rybka (nee Nunes-Ravasco), beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her home on December 2, 2021 surrounded by her family.
Leah, or Vovo to her grandchildren, was born on July 5, 1926 in Dourados, Brazil. In 1953, she married Frank Rybka (d. 2011) and together, they immigrated to Canada and had their 6 children.

WATSON, David Allan - 1956 - 2021 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of David on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
As he climbed the final steps on his ladder of life, we believe that he was lovingly greeted by God, gently held by his dad (Syd) and mom (Kathleen, "Molly"), Gran and Grampa, dear aunts and uncles (especially Peg and Les).
Left behind to mourn, are his sister Barbara McAuley (Steve), brother Stephen Watson (Susan), his daughter Rebecca Cave (Kevin), his beautiful granddaughter (Aurora), nieces Karen, Kathleen (Rick), Sheryl (Paul), Stephanie (Brent), Anastasia, multiple great-nieces and nephews, and special friends Don and Maryann.
Dave worked in the Automotive industry for many years.
He enjoyed his Van, various cars, his Truck, and car rallies.

With deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother Dorothy (Dot) Stewart at Dufferin Oaks Long Term Care Home in Shelburne, ON, December 2, 2021.
Predeceased by her teenage sweetheart and loving husband, Joseph (Joe) in July 1971, Dorothy lived most of her life in Etobicoke and then in assisted care in Oakville and long-term care in Shelburne.
Dorothy was a stay-at-home mom, where she delivered and raised 4 loving children, Bill (Bonnie), Don, Jo-Anne (Hobart) and Debbie.

It is with great sadness that the family of Carl Outridge announces his recent death, on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
Carl passed, shortly after his 92nd birthday, at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario.
He was the beloved husband of Paula for more than 66 years, the loving father of Lorraine (Neil), John (Patti), Kim (David) and Andree and the cherished grandfather of Colin, Scott, Kameron, Michael, Marc and Matthew.
Carl also leaves behind his dearest sister, Margaret Mouttet, nephew Charles and niece Josette. Carl was born on November 22, 1929 to Mildred "Tita" Belling and Victor Outridge in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad.

Gone is the endlessly kind gentleman with wry, self-deprecating humour and deep loyalty to friends and family.
Gone is the staunch leftist intellectual who lived his beliefs in fairness and egalitarianism.
Gone is the lover of fine meals, hearty red wines and hilarious conversations.
Gone is Kelly’s 40-year poker game, which he hosted with such pleasure—although we have promised to try to keep it going.
