GIBSON, Annette Gibson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Annette Gibson on June 3, 2026 at Pembroke Regional Hospital at the age of 87. Born in Paisley Scotland Feb 16, 1939. Annette brought warmth, laughter, and kindness wherever she went. She was known for her loving heart, strong spirit, quick wit, and her ability to make people smile. Family was the center of her world, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved. Annette was predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, Johnny Gibson, whom she missed dearly.
Their love story was one of devotion, partnership, and unwavering commitment. Family finds comfort in knowing they are together once again. She leaves behind her loving children, Susan Davison (Jim ), Hazel Green (Raymond), and Lance Gibson (Teresa). She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Bobby Brown, Jackie Andary, and Senga Currie. Cherished grandmother of John and Jennifer Medeiros, Krystal Caissie (Gary), Ashley Dezan (Adam), Michael Green (Paula), Lance Gibson (Dom), and Jade Bloom (Morgan). Proud great-grandmother of Madilyn and Austin Caissie, Harper and Paisley Dezan, Wynter and Hunter Green, Ember Gibson, and Isobel Bloom. Annette had many passions throughout her life. She loved gardening, crafting, and creating beautiful things with her hands. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and bringing a smile to their faces. Her family will forever remember her generous heart, her strength, her sense of humor, and the love she shared so freely.
Though born in Scotland, Annette and Johnny held a special place in their hearts for Kincardine, Ontario, where they loved to vacation because it reminded them so much of their homeland. At a later date, their ashes will be spread together in Kincardine, a place filled with cherished memories and a connection to the country they loved. Annette’s beautiful smile, loving nature, and unwavering devotion to her family will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience that will continue to live on in all who knew her. Forever loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten
