ARMSTRONG, Francis Gerard Armstrong

Peacefully, on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Ajax, at age 96. Francis Gerard Armstrong of Port Perry, beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Canning). Loved father of Rosemary Fortnum (Jack), Kevin Armstrong (Patricia), Karen Coughlin (late Kevin) and John Armstrong (Sylvia). Loving grandfather of Christina (Shawn), Victoria (Michael), Brendan, Andrew, Sarah (Jesse), Diego, Ale, Samantha and David and great grandfather of Mason, Benjamin, Jakob, Gabriel, Asher, Ava and James. Dear brother of Leo (deceased) and his wife Maire, brothers-in-law of Basil and his wife Edna, Ed (deceased) and his wife Helen,  Hugh (deceased) and his wife Sylvia, and  Father Bernard Canning (deceased).

The family of Frank Armstrong will receive friends at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry on Thursday, June 25^th from 10 – 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church at 11:00 a.m. with Father Silva officiating. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby.
