NOONAN, Dennis Noonan
April 14, 2026
God called Dennis home to reunite with his beloved wife, Wendy Lynn Noonan, only 22 days after her passing. Born in 1941, Dennis was 84 years old. Father to Mark Noonan (Georgetown), Marny Adams and her husband Rob (Oakville), Jamie Noonan and his wife Debby (Cambridge). Son to Patrick and Donna Noonan, brother to Donna Reid. Grandfather to Nikki Armstrong (Noonan), Blake Noonan, Maelie Noonan, Lucas Sharpen, Rowen and Claire Noonan. Great grandfather to Halle and Emmet Armstrong, Georgia and Arostaios Noonan.
Dennis Noonan met Lynn as a teenager working at a local grocery store in Oakville. Over 62 years of marriage, they enjoyed all that life has to offer. They travelled, spent time with friends, and enjoyed many adventures.
As a young man, Dennis had a passion for scuba diving and teaching it to others. Over the years he honed his woodworking skills and spent many hours in his workshop on numerous passion projects. He worked as a taxi driver, welder, and later worked in sales for various transportation companies. He developed a deep interest in the industry, coming to manage several companies and eventually opening his own consulting company, Fox Transportation. In his free time, he and Lynn attended auctions, and refinished antique furniture. Together they restored an 18th century farmhouse in Sheffield, that they ran together as a Bed and Breakfast (LYNDEN HOUSE) in retirement. He loved working on his property, puttering in the barn and riding his tractor in Sheffield. He enjoyed volunteering at Nithview and Westfield Heritage Village in the Woodshop. Together with Lynn as Mrs. Clause, he spent time in retirement as Santa Clause for several community events.
Dennis is reunited now with Lynn β love endures.
A private service of remembrance will be held by the family.
