MARTIN, Joseph Alexandre Martin

Peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital on July 10th 2026 in his 97th year. Beloved husband of Joan for almost 69 years. Loving father of Deborah Martin, Sandra Ruffo (the late Paul), and Christine Moote (Ian). Cherished Grandpa of Jessica Stewart (Landon), David Bordeleau, Josette Moote, and Daphne Moote. Joseph Alexandre Martin was the second youngest of 10 children to the late Peter and Lea Martin. Special thank you to Dr. Desa Bibic, all the doctors and nurses at Hamilton General and St. Peter’s Hospitals for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish, 400 Pottruff Rd. (corner of Barton St. & Nash Rd.) on Wednesday July 22, 2026 at 1 p.m. If so desired, donations to St. Peter’s Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
