DIEHL, Harvey Peter DIEHL

Β passed away peacefully on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Knollcrest Lodge. Born in Mornington Township, son of the late Norman and Mary (Keillor) Diehl, and was raised on a farm just outside of Brunner. Harvey was predeceased by his sisters Melinda Raycraft, Dorothy Diehl, Nancy Diehl, brothers Charles, Jack, Frazer, Martin, Robert, Kenneth, and by his brothers-in-law Bill Craig, and Bill Molyneux.

Survived by his brothers Allan, and Douglas Diehl, sisters Frances Craig, Helen Molyneaux, Gloria Diehl, sister-in-law Sharon Diehl, brother-in-law Edward Raycraft and by nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by many friends and staff at community living and colleagues over the years.

Harvey Peter DIEHL worked at several places throughout his life, including Frederick Industries and Dyna Mig. He was a valued member of Community Living in Stratford for 42 years, before spending his final year and a half at Knollcrest Lodge in Milverton. Harvey was an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Maple Leafs, and he took great joy in cheering them on… often loudly encouraging the players to do better. He also loved watching Hudson & Rex time and time again, as well as keeping up with The Young and the Restless, never missing a chance to share the latest Newman family drama.

Harvey had the opportunity to travel to Graceland to the home of the King as well as 3 trips to watch the Toronto Blue Jays at spring training. He really enjoyed meeting Buck Martinez. He will be missed by so many but will now be filling his cat Judo’s belly with treats now that they are reunited.

Harvey enjoyed a delicious meal at Swiss Chalet with family and friends, and was a kind, and loving soul who will truly be missed.
